Description: Meet Herbie, a 2 1/2 year old dark grey Chinchilla. This little bundle of fluff is seeking a new home due to life changes with his owner (e.g -  she's in college and isn't giving him the attention he needs).  What this cutie needs is someone who has researched Chinchillas and knows what to expect from them, and what he in turn will need from his new person/family.   He is very quiet but loves to be out racing around - hence the name, Herbie. He does not like to be held, but he does like coming up next to you and enjoys having his chin and chest scratched. He eats regular chinchilla food but likes treats of corn, peas and some fruit.  As is to be expected with Chinchillas, Herbie will chew if given the chance, including the plastic bases of cages!  He has lived with cats (though in separate rooms, dogs or cats would view him as dinner!) and teenage children.  You can email juliandjim29@msn.com with questions.

She will most likely be blind in her left eye but doesn't let that stop her. And she can climb anything really really fast. She gets where she wants to go with no hesitation.
